I had fallen asleep in front of the TV only to awaken to the harsh and grim reality of war. There before me was the war torn and courageous face of Lt. Jeffrey N. Zaun. Having been too young to appreciate the Vietnam War, I was forced to confront unfamiliar emotions. The images of helplessly brutalized POW's haunted me. As their eyes cried out to embrace their country, I knew in my heart their terror had just begun. I then realized that through music, I could find the solace I was so desperately in search of. What follows was a labor of love; a reaching out to the soldiers and their families in an attempt to offer comfort in these trying times of sacrifice. With the help of friends and producer Jimmy Hotz, what began in a moment of inspiration has now become a song of hope, in the belief that peace will find its' way.

Premier progressive rock at its best. I love this type of rock. Great intro. Nice riffs with magnificent vocals and instrumentation. Interesting musical changes tied together with a perfect production mix. A splendid job you guys. Peace

First off...the production and recording attributes are outstanding....as i fully expected it would be if it involves Pamme Haven = quality...in every respect. Your material is always a cut above... in my very humble opinion. Tight vocals ??---absolutely. Terrific story line ??...you bet. Arrangement and instrumentation ??...superb. As with your other tunes...you and your material just floor me. Our fighting forces would definitely appreciate this one. One can only hope they get to hear and feel this tribute.... to them. My utmost respect Pamme. I wanted to get here to listen a lttle sooner..but there is MUCH to sidetrack me these days (i think you know and understand). With that said however...you and your music always gives me comfort and diversion...because once again...everything you do is quality. This song is real "gutsy" and gets right to the point. Pamme always gives her 100% but not getting away from the super music accompaniment that always enhances her style, with the "no brakes" backings. This song really rocks and I think it would make an excellent movie theme. Great Production!
